explore our beef dripping
From a 375mL glass jar for the bench to 20L tubs for kitchens that fry every day.
Why beef dripping?

Rich, Beefy Flavour
Rendered from the fat beneath the hide, dripping has a golden hue and a richer, beefier flavour than tallow.

Made for the Pan
With a smoke point of around 250°C, it handles roasting, frying and deep frying without breaking down.

Kitchen to Commercial
375mL and 500mL jars for home, plus 4L, 11L and 20L tubs for cafés, chippies and big families.
Dripping is the fat Australian kitchens were built on. Softer than tallow and full of beef flavour, it is the natural choice for roast vegetables, a proper fry-up and basting the Sunday roast.
What our dripping is (and isn't)
Dripping or tallow?
Both come from Tasmanian grass-fed beef, but from different fat. Dripping is rendered from body fat, giving it a softer texture and a richer, beefier flavour. Tallow comes from suet around the kidneys and loin, and is firmer and cleaner tasting.
They share the same high smoke point, so the choice comes down to flavour. Reach for dripping when you want the beef to come through.

Good to know
Is beef dripping the same as your beef tallow?
Not quite. Our dripping is rendered from beef body fat, while our beef tallow is made from suet around the kidneys and loin. Dripping is softer and beefier; tallow is firmer and cleaner.
Where does your beef dripping come from?
Our beef dripping is made from Tasmanian grass-fed beef.
Do you sell larger formats?
Yes. Alongside the 375mL and 500mL jars, dripping comes in 4L, 11L and 20L tubs. Contact us before ordering if you need help with a quantity or delivery.
How do I store beef dripping?
Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Use a clean utensil and keep food and water out of the container.
