Duck fat is renowned for its selenium & zinc content, and for having higher mono-unsaturated than saturated fat levels; helping lower your levels of blood cholesterol. Also, having less saturated fat than butter and some vegetable oils. In the kitchen, roast potatoes are an all-time favourite in duck fat. Otherwise, similar to our other fats its a perfect substitute for cooking oils when frying & baking with its high smoke point and unbelievable flavour profile!
