Tasmania’s famous clean air and lush green paddocks are a result of dark rain clouds gently rolling over our mountain ranges. As the sky blackens you can almost feel the cleansing power of the approaching storm.
Activated charcoal is added to our soap to impart a delicious detoxifying feel while the natural glycerin and extra oils leave your skin feeling fed and moisturised.
Benefits of Activated Charcoal:
Activated charcoal draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of the skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne. Charcoal is not metabolized or absorbed by the body, but it can be used to treat some poisonous bites and disinfect some wounds. Activated charcoal powder is proven to adsorb thousands of times its own mass in harmful substances, Activated charcoal has high absorptive powers, which means that it draws other elements into itself. Charcoal is activated through heat and exposure to steam and certain chemicals. This process causes the carbon to form enlarged "pores," which are fissures and pockets in its surface. When it is exposed to contaminants, they literally become trapped in the carbon's pores. Charcoal also has antibacterial properties that can help heal wounds. Activated carbon is used for everything from industrial water filtration to medicinal supplements.
Ingredients:
Tallow, Tasmanian Extra Virgin Cold-pressed Olive Oil, Lye Water, Tasmanian Beeswax, Activated Charcoal Powder.
Why Tallow For Skin?
Natural Anti-inflammatory
Tallow contains CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) with natural anti-inflammatory properties, perfect for sensitive skin.

Won't Clog Pores
Hemp seed oil with zero comedogenic rating. Lightweight and absorbs readily without greasy residue.

Skin Regeneration & Repair
Stearic acid repairs damaged skin and aids regeneration for healthier, more youthful appearance.
Grass-fed tallow is naturally rich in skin-friendly fats that mirror the structure of your own sebum, helping to support barrier function and lock in moisture. It contains conjugated linoleic acid, stearic and palmitic acids, which help calm irritation, support repair and leave skin feeling soft and resilient.
What our skincare is (and isn't)
Why hemp seed oil isn't "that" seed oil
Hemp seed oil cops a bad rap by name alone, but it behaves very differently to the industrial seed oils tallow lovers try to avoid. It is mechanically cold-pressed from hemp seeds (not chemically stripped), and is naturally rich in omega fatty acids that help support the skin barrier, calm dryness and reduce the look of irritation.
On skin, hemp seed oil is light, fast-absorbing and non-greasy, making it a great option for faces, mixed/oily types and anyone who wants moisture without the heavy feel. It is also low on the comedogenic scale, which means it is far less likely to clog pores while still keeping skin soft, comfortable and resilient.
