Why pemmican is the original real food snack
Pemmican has sustained explorers and warriors for centuries, long before the protein bar was invented. Made from dried meat and rendered fat, it is one of the most calorie-dense and nutritionally complete whole foods ever created. Our version uses grass-fed Tasmanian beef dried at low temperatures, available in two varieties: beef meat with sea salt, and beef liver with sea salt.
With no sugars, fillers or seed oils, pemmican is as close to real food as a shelf-stable snack gets. High in protein and rich in fat-soluble vitamins from the tallow, it is made from the same Tasmanian cattle we use across our entire range.

I have been a carnivore since Jan 11th 2026. I’m 70 losing weight 10 kgs so far. I can’t have dairy products I get hives and aches and pains throughput my body. I love dairy but it was the crippling aches and pains that made me give up dairy for good. I missed crunchy stuff. So pork crackling for me was perfect. I loved the pork crackling but it is gone much too soon. It satisfied the crunch factor for me. I am BBQing my meat so having the beef tallow is wonderful. I can’t comment on the taste because I can’t smell anything and therefore I can’t taste anything. But I know it is pure and it is good for me. I have been using the unscented moisturizer on my face and there is no residue on the surface of my skin. My skin just slurps it is. So I love all the products I have tried. By the time 12 months is up I do t think I will recognize my body. It is getting easier to get around and I do not have saggy baggy skin from the weight loss. My skin at times is a wee bit crinkly but I put the tallow moisturizer on and it soon firms up. My body does enjoy these products and I am happy someone had the foresight to create them. Thank you.
